Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking any services with us.

By accessing our website or placing a booking with HnK Party Hire (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. About Us

HnK Party Hire is a party and event hire business operating in New South Wales, Australia, providing items and services including (but not limited to):

  • Party props and backdrops
  • Custom MDF prop cutting and signage
  • Balloon décor and installations
  • Event delivery, setup, and pack-down services

  1. Bookings & Quotes
  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
  • A booking is confirmed only after payment of the required deposit or full amount.
  • Verbal or message enquiries do not guarantee availability.
  1. Payments
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before delivery or setup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Prices are in AUD and may change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Deposits are non-refundable for change of mind, cancellations, or event postponements.
  • If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event date, full payment may be forfeited.
  • In the unlikely event we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, any payments made will be refunded in full.
  1. Changes to Bookings
  • Any changes to designs, quantities, colours, or services must be requested at least 7 days before the event.
  • Custom items (including MDF cutting and personalised signage) cannot be changed or refunded once production has started.
  1. Hire Period
  • Hire items are provided for the agreed hire period only (usually 24 hours, unless stated otherwise).
  • Late returns may incur additional fees.
  • Items must not be relocated, altered, or dismantled without our permission.
  1. Delivery, Setup & Access
  • The client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the venue.
  • Any delays caused by restricted access, stairs, lifts, or venue rules may result in additional charges.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or venue restrictions beyond our control.
  1. Responsibility for Hire Items
  • All hire items remain the property of HnK Party Hire.
  • The client is responsible for items from the time of setup until pack-down or collection.
  • Damage, loss, theft, stains, burns, water damage, or breakage will be charged at repair or replacement cost.
  1. Balloons & Outdoor Setups
  • Balloons are affected by heat, wind, rain, and sunlight.
  • We do not guarantee longevity for outdoor setups.
  • No refunds will be given for balloon popping, deflation, or weather-related issues after setup.
  1. Custom MDF & Personalised Items
  • Custom MDF items are made to order and are non-refundable.
  • Minor variations in colour, finish, or size may occur.
  • The client is responsible for approving designs before production.
  1. Safety & Use
  • Hire items are for decorative purposes only unless stated otherwise.
  • Items must not be climbed on, stood upon, or misused.
  • We accept no responsibility for injuries caused by misuse of hire items.
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  1. Website Use
  • Content on this website is provided “as is” and may change without notice.
  • We do not guarantee the website will always be available or error-free.
  1. Intellectual Property

All designs, photos, content, and branding belong to HnK Party Hire and must not be copied or used without written permission.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
